Acute Care Expert Reference Group
An essential part of promoting and supporting evidence-based practice is the international engagement of health professionals in providing guidance in their fields of expertise. With this in mind, JBI has established Expert Reference Groups that support each node of JBI COnNECT.
Aims
The aims of the Acute Care Expert Reference Group are to:
- Provide advice to JBI on topics included in the Clinical Information database section of the acute care node of JBI COnNECT;
- Contribute to the development of Care Bundles (currently referred to as recommended practices or interventions);
- Provide advice to JBI on topics included in the PACES section of the acute care node of JBI COnNECT;
- Provide advice to JBI on topics included in the POOL section of the acute care node of JBI COnNECT;
- Provide advice to JBI on JBI COnNECT design; and
- Assist COnNECT staff to monitor the quality of the acute care node of JBI COnNECT.
Composition
- Up to ten members with experience and expertise in Acute Care; and
- A Member of JBI staff.
